Founded 8/29/2022 by Home Owners who believe their life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness has been encroached upon by HOAs. Home owner associations, were originally established in order to "legally" discriminate against minority groups without being sued. HOAs were a "legal" way to keep black and brown people out of white communities, and also provide a way to "steal" homes from minorities that made their way into a community where they weren't wanted.
To find out who HOAs really serve all you have to do is follow the money. The biggest builders in America use HOAs to ensure they have full control of their investment until they sell all of the homes they have under development, and just like "Big Tabacco" sold you on how good for you cigarettes are, Builders, their Banks, and their Lobbyist sold you on how good HOAs are for your community. They told you that HOAs protect your home value, but recent studies including that of Leon S. Robertson, PhD, a sociologist/epidemiologist and Yale University researcher, concluded that, contrary to industry claims and popular assumptions, HOAs don’t protect property values after all.
HOAs are as antiquated as Jim Crow laws and red lining. HOAs are a way for power hungry neighbors to single handedly impose their will to satisfy personal vendettas. HOAs are a way for the sad and lonely to invade on your privacy. HOAs are one of the last strong holds of those that instituted segregation and others that burned down the homes of their neighbors while wearing hooded mask then lynching them out front.
The time of the HOA has past. There are over 74 Million homeowners in the US and only around 300,000 HOAs, but HOAs control about 55% of the houses in America. It's time for time for the individual homeowners to stand up. Even if only 1% (1 million) of home owners who are tired of HOAs stands up we are more powerful than all 300,000 HOAs, because our reach is National and no single HOA will be able to take a stand against us when we take legal action together.
